The Cost of Direct Debit
- A one off payment of £50 for the processing of your Service User Number, database set up and supporting documentation
- For each customer Direct Debit Instruction addition to the newsagents database and transmission to BACS - 50p

- For each collection from the customer database (unlimited number of customers) - £6.00
- Plus for each successful item collected:
27 pence per item New Reduced Rate (June 2011)
So, for an example of collection costs:
Each time a newsagent chooses to collect 350 customers it will cost 350 x 27p + £6.00 = 28.7 pence per customer.
You will of course save on your existing banking costs as this collection goes straight into your bank account.
